Scotty McCreery experienced some technical difficulties as he performed the National Anthem during Game 1 of the World Series on Wednesday (October 19th) night in St. Louis. The game between the American League's Texas Rangers and the National League's St. Louis Cardinals was off to a rocky start when Scotty's microphone either wasn't working or wasn't on.

Scotty was a couple lines into the song, but no one could hear him. Once the mic got going, Scotty restarted the song and didn't miss a beat, much to the delight of baseball fans.

Keith Urban has teamed up with People.com to launch a nationwide contest to create a thirty second commercial spot for Keith's new men's cologne, Phoenix by Keith Urban. The grand prize winner will be hand selected by Keith, and their commercial will be broadcast on national network television after the conclusion of the promotion. In addition, the winner will receive tickets and airfare to see Keith in concert in 2012 as well as a Phoenix gift pack including cologne, after shave, body wash and wrist watch.

Taylor Swift had two surprise guests at her show in Atlanta over the weekend -- Usher and rapper T.I.! Usher took the stage on Saturday (October 1st) to perform his 2004 hit, "Yeah!", while T.I. took the stage to duet with Taylor on his 2008 hit, "Live Your Life," on Sunday (October 2nd) night. 

Rascal Flatts will become the newest members of the Grand Ole Opry. Vince Gill surprised the guys with the news during their performance at the Opry last night (Tuesday, September 27th) in Nashville.

Snooki had a wild weekend in Las Vegas. The Jersey Shore star joked about getting married to boyfriend Jionni LaValle-- and got a tattoo.

Snooki tweeted a picture of herself and Jionni early Sunday morning with the caption, "We're married!!!!" However, she quickly set the record straight, following it up with, "Just kiddennnnn ! But boy is vegas tempting !! Gettin nasty at pure meow."

She even told Us Weekly that going to the altar with Jionni was a possibility, saying of their second Vegas trip, "This time we might be going to the chapel. I mean, it's that serious now!"

As if Hillary Scott doesn't have enough going on with next week's release of Lady Antebellum's Own The Night CD, she is fully entrenched in planning her wedding to fiance Chris Tyrell. Hillary shared some of the details of the upcoming nuptials with us: "We're up to our eyes in planning already, and we don't really want a long engagement, so it'll be next year, and we're really looking forward to it. It won't be very small, but it's not gonna be huge. It's just gonna be really personal to us and very much personal to who we are inviting, you know? We're being very, very thoughtful with who is coming and how much they mean to us and how they've been there from the very infantile stages of our relationship, and so it's gonna be really fun!"

Hillary says that Chris has already become a true partner, willingly taking on some of the wedding planning responsibility. ["I'm the luckiest girl in the entire world, not only because he's just an amazing man, but because he's very helpful with planning. He's okay to really take the reigns sometime and help, and when we're in the middle of promoting a new album and planning a tour and potentially going over to Europe again, it's just a lot to think about and so he lets me kind of take a break and he'll take the reigns, and then I'll get back to it after Christmas!"

The new cast of Dancing With the Stars has been revealed. Last night ABC confirmed rumors that Chaz Bono and Rob Kardashianwould be among the contestants on season 13 of the reality competition series.

Among the surprises? HLN host Nancy Grace and U.S. soccer star Hope Solo will be taking the dance floor.

Season 13 will premiere September 19th on ABC.
