OK, first off… how much do you LOVE the song “Pontoon” by Little Big Town? I LOVE that song so much. They made a video to it a few months back, and the video is just as great as the song is. The video makes me want to leave work and head to the lake for the afternoon. It gives me that “I-have-to-be-sipping-a-blue-drink-in-the-warm-sun-on-a-boat-with-a-bunch-of-hot-boys-RIGHT-NOW” feeling. And then when I snap out of it and realize that I can’t just drop everything and head to the lake, I’ll watch the video. Well, first I’ll weep. And THEN I’ll watch the video.
Yesterday, Little Big Town released a new version of the video just for fun. This one isn’t a three-and-a-half minute mental vacation like the original, but it does have Luke Bryan in it. NICE! As we all know, Luke Bryan makes my mind wander too. And not only does it have Luke, but there’s Lady Antebellum, Carrie Underwood, Darius Rucker (and his FANTASTIC laugh!), Jake Owen, Miranda Lambert and Pistol Annies, Hunter Hayes, Eli Young Band, Wynonna, Thompson Square, Sara Evans, Charlie Daniels, Kix Brooks, and TONS more.
You KNOW you have a cool Country song when all of the other Country singers are singing your song. Way to go, Little Big Town!!!
